Setbacks and challenges are part and parcel of progress.
And success.
Bumps in the road are normal.
Generally, progress does not happen straight away.
Overnight success is an overhyped myth, a dangerous myth that creates more problems that it solves.
The reality is that you can't just start and make it to the top right away. You need to dig through the mud to find your gold.
The struggles, and challenges, and the setbacks are all part and parcel of the journey. Look at any genuinely successful person and you will find out just how true this is, and what a myth overnight success generally is.
This is why it is important to remind yourself why you're doing what you're doing.
It’s important because without a strong WHY, it will be difficult for you to continue.
Why?
Because every time you hit the wall, every time you fall, every time there is a setback, it will be hard for you to pick yourself up and get going again without having a strong reason to do so.
It will be hard to go on unless you have a strong why driving you.
This is the reason that causes most people to give up on their goals. Because they don’t have a strong enough WHY.
The great thing is that the stronger your reason (your WHY), the easier it will for you to pick yourself up and keep going.
So, figure out your big WHY.
Keep working on your mind,
Salek
