I am not a fan of painkillers.
That's actually understating it. In fact, I really dislike medicine in general.
In the past, I would often sit with painful headaches, even migraines, without touching a painkiller.
But now I usually take them.
Especially when it's small stuff like paracetamol.
I’ve changed my policy on painkillers because I've learned over time that sitting through the pain is not worth the minuscule damage they might do to the liver, which it'll repair anyway.
But I’ve changed my rule about painkillers mostly because I’ve realized that sitting through the pain when there is a simple and easy fix at hand is needless suffering. It’s needless, and pointless, and doesn’t really help me at the end of the day.
What helps is getting rid of the suffering, wherever possible.
Do you have any areas in your life where you are suffering, but you can fix?

P.S. One of the things that helped with my migraine was meditation. Meditation has lots of other benefits too. Want to learn more about it? Then check out this audio guide - A Beginners Guide to Meditation: What It Is Is Not and Why It Is Good for You (Research Backed)
