Are you banging your head against the wall?
Most people do.
Most people keep doing what doesn't work over and over and over again, without actually fixing the root issue (that, by the way, is the definition of insanity, according to one of the smartest people that ever lived...).
Most people keep focusing on external factors and try to fix things on the inside, without paying any attention to the state of their inner world.
For the majority of the population, pretty much all their focus is fixated on their external reality, and little to no attention goes to their internal reality.
The thing is, trying to change your external reality without changing your internal reality does not work. That would be like trying to run without actually learning how to walk first.
You need to have the foundation in place to build on.
Without having the correct foundation, even if you manage to get things built it will come crashing down sooner or later. This is why most people struggle in life. They struggle in life not because they are not smart or capable or don't have what it takes, but rather because they don't have the right foundation in place.
Most people keep trying to build a house on sand, and then wonder what's going on when the house crumbles not long after. Your mindset, or how you think, is the foundation you build on.
If you don't have the right mindset, it will be hard to go as far as you need to or do what you really ought to. Without the right mindset it gets easy to sabotage yourself, get in your own way, and even quit too soon.
All of those issues (and others like that) are all symptoms of an ineffective mindset, a mindset that is ultimately doing you more harm than good. And until you fix that foundational aspect, everything in life will be an uphill battle. Fix your mindset, and you can fix your life.
When you work on fixing and improving your mindset, at the very least your life will become a lot easier, simpler, and even more enjoyable (not to mention successful).
Pay attention to how you think, because that really, really matters.
